The Flore was created in 2024 when two musicians who wanted to play in a band met: a keyboardist and a guitarist/singer. They found each other online, like modern-day humans, on a classified ads website (easyzic, if you're listening). With fairly broad and varied musical tastes (blues, French variety, salsa, bossa, folk, rap, etc.), they started out by covering artists such as Ben Mazué, Otis Redding, Eric Clapton, Bill Withers, Bruce Springsteen, Karpatt, and others. They are now working on their own songs alongside the covers. Their first songs are in the style of 'acoustic French songs'. Without imposing any artistic constraints on themselves, they are keen to explore the music they enjoy, when they enjoy it.
